Phoenix Gold ZDT-BMW1 T-Harness for BMW 2005-2019

In the stock configuration, the small 4” door speakers are forced to handle lower bass frequencies, leading to distortion.

Simultaneously, the underseat woofers are required to reproduce midrange and treble frequencies they were not designed to handle, further degrading the audio clarity. The result? A muddled and distorted sound profile that falls far short of your vehicle's potential.

The ZDT-BMW1 T-Harness resolves this by separating the signal paths of the front door speakers and the underseat woofers, converting them into an active configuration. When paired with a Phoenix Gold ZDA DSP amplifier or ZXM amplifier solution, this setup allows precise tuning of frequency filters, ensuring each speaker handles only the frequencies it’s designed for. This dramatically reduces distortion, improves overall sound clarity, and unlocks the full potential of your vehicle's audio system.

The Phoenix Gold ZDT-BMW1 harness simplifies audio integration when paired with our ZDC-ISO or ZDC-ISOX harnesses. Designed for seamless compatibility, it allows you to match the ZDT- cable to your specific vehicle and combine it with our ZDA or ZXM amplifiers for a complete Plug & Play solution. Installation Made Simple: Disconnect the OEM harness from your head unit.

Connect the ZDT- cable to the OEM harness, then plug the other end into your head unit. Integrate the ZDT- cable with one of our ZDC-ISO or ZDC-ISOX harnesses to establish power, signal, and speaker connections. Disconnect the speaker connectors from the underseat woofers located beneath each front seat.

Route the 4-pin connectors to the appropriate front seat and connect them to the underseat woofers. Attach the black 4-pin loop connector to the OEM harness that was previously disconnected from the underseat woofers. Link the setup to your Plug & Play amplifier, and the installation is complete!
