These shoes designed for clay courts. The adidas Men's Barricade 14 Clay Tennis Shoe is designed for a tennis player who needs support and stability to compete at the highest level. For version 14, adidas used a new last to improve the shoes' midfoot fit and comfort.
A new chassis delivers lightweight stability worthy of the Barricade name. The reptile-inspired RPU design helps protect key portions of the shoe's upper with overlapping scales. The Barricade 14 is lighter than the previous model, but the shoe delivers stability worthy of the professionals who endorse it.
Upper: Engineered mesh upper with ADITUFF material in abrasion zones. Collar and Tongue deliver elevated comfort Midsole: The lightweight chassis pairs with the new last for added midfoot support and an improved fit. Repetitor midsole provides a super soft, energetic platform, paired with LightStrike Pro in the forefoot, which provides energy return and stability.
Outsole: New GCPU compound enables thinner tread and reduced weight. This outsole is designed for Clay court play. Color: Core Black and Zero Metallic
