The interface and radio adapter cable is plug and play, it is used to connect an aftermarket stereo upgrade and retain the use of the volume, track skip, source and phone buttons from the steering wheel with the new radio and retain the use of the original Bose amplifier.Steering wheel control interface and radio adapter cable for Nissan X-Trail, Almera and Terrano cars, with 16 and 8 pin connectors, to fit an aftermarket radio upgrade.The cable adapts from the Nissan twin 10 and 6 pin connectors and the smaller 16 pin connector in the car to standard aftermarket ISO connectors. This replaces the need for a separate ISO radio replacement adapter cable. This adapter cable also retains the use of the original Bose amplifier by using the preout connections on the back of the new radio.The steering wheel control interface is built in to the adapter cable for a plug and play installation.The interface will allow the original audio control buttons on the steering wheel to work with the new aftermarket radio.

The interface will work the volume, track skip, source and phone buttons.This interface needs to be used with a 29- series patch lead. This links the steering control interface to the steering wheel control input on the back of the new stereo.
